Emmanuel SAPOLSKY embraced a life of screenwriting and directing in fiction in 2008, after a career as a writer for the comedian Anthony Kavanagh and host in the Labo des Blouzes for Disney Channel. His first TV movie, La Fille au fond du Verre à Saké (Canal+), selected among 400 scripts, was in the official selection at La Rochelle 2009. Passionate about Asia, he turned to Franco-Chinese co-productions by becoming one of the authors and director of the digital series Ex-Model for the Chinese platform Youku and prize for the best webseries at SeriesMania 2015.

He also co-wrote and directed his first feature film The Eye of Silence in Beijing, episodes of the series En Famille for M6, in the USA the series The Switch - for Fashion One

In 2019, Emmanuel returns to the TV screens in France with Détox for France TV Slash, awarded with an Audience Award at the Festival des Fictions TV de la Rochelle in 2021 and Luchon in 2022.

He is currently developing the series Mugu for Canal+ international, supported by the CNC and selected at the Pitch de la Rochelle 2022 and the Rencontres de la Coproduction Francophone de Marseille.
